Magic Apple Softphone (iPhone): How to Add a Contact to Quick Dial
- Tap Quick Dial in the bottom-left corner.
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner.
- A "+" icon will appear in the bottom-right corner — tap it.
- A pop-up will open where you can enter the contact's name and number. Once you're done typing, tap Return on your keyboard to essentially minimize the keyboard, then from there you'll see a Save button to add the contact to your Quick Dial list.
- FYI, before saving you'll notice an option that reads, "Enable Busy Lamp Field". It would be our recommendation to enable this feature. It essentially just will make the contact green if they're off a call, and red if they're on a call. Just a nice way to confirm the availability of the person you're trying to call. Please note, this feature only works when calling internally.
